<p>Stanley began drinking abusively when he was in the tenth grade. Fortunately for him, although he drank excessively when he was an adolescent and a young adult, when he got beyond the age of thirty he almost always drank in moderation.</p>
<p>After he finished his education he eventually found employment at a local copper smelting plant where he worked his way up from stock person, to office assistant, to purchasing assistant, to purchasing agent. Unlike his other positions, as the purchasing manager he continually took existing vendors and potential vendors to lunch and to various sporting events.</p>
<p>Though it was not written in stone, meeting with existing vendors and potential vendors continually involved situations in which alcohol was present. In truth, over the past nineteen months, Stanley had begun to considerably increase his work related and his social drinking. This has resulted in a dilemma. To be more precise, the more successful he became as a purchasing agent, the more heavily he began to drink.</p>
<p><strong>His Increasing Bouts of Depression Also Made Him Question if He Was Becoming an Alcohol Dependent Individual</strong></p>
<p>In fact, it didn’t take very long before Stanley’s abusive drinking started to adversely affect his mental health, his relationships, his work efficiency, the money in his savings account, and his health. After many weeks of heavy drinking, Stanley, if truth be told, began to get worried about his hazardous and careless drinking and wondered whether his alcohol-related concerns were <a target="_blank" href="http://www.about-alcohol-abuse.com">alcoholism signs</a>. Furthermore, his increasing bouts of depression also made him question if he was becoming an alcohol addicted person. In short, Stanley clearly needed to learn more about the <a target="_blank" href="http://www.about-alcohol-information.com">facts about alcohol</a> abuse and alcohol dependency.</p>
<p><strong>Stanley Needs Alcohol Detox and Alcohol Rehabilitation For His Alcohol Addiction and a Medical Assessment Regarding His Depression</strong></p>
<p>So Stanley used his intelligence, called his family doctor, and set up an appointment for a thorough physical exam. A week later after seeing his healthcare practitioner, Stanley unfortunately found out that he was addicted to alcohol. His physician informed Stanley that he needed to get alcohol detoxification and alcohol rehabilitation for his alcohol dependency and that he also needed to get treatment for his depression. In a word, Stanley needed treatment for his <a target="_blank" href="http://www.about-alcoholism-facts.com/Depression_and_Alcoholism.html">alcoholism and depression</a>.</p>
<p><strong>The Positive News is That After His Treatment For Alcohol Dependency and For Depression, He Felt Like a Different Individual</strong></p>
<p>His healthcare practitioner recommended to Stanley that he request a 30 day leave of absence from work and get enrolled in a quality in-patient alcohol rehab clinic where his depression could also be treated. This is specifically what Stanley did. Fortunately after his treatment for alcoholism and for depression, he felt like a new individual. In truth, now that he was in recovery he rarely got depressed and he now knew how to more successfully and productively manage his finances, his health, his relationships, and his job.</p>
<p>Not unexpectedly, the most challenging “test” Stanley ran into was at work. Simply put, he still took potential vendors and his existing vendors to lunch and to various sporting events, but after his alcohol rehab he managed to abstain from drinking while entertaining his clients.</p>
<p>It may be noted that Stanley also discovered that none of his existing vendors or potential vendors thought any less of him because of his alcohol-free lifestyle. Instead, he learned that his potential vendors and existing vendors respected him for maintaining his convictions.</p>
<p>After Stanley went through alcohol rehabilitation, however, he learned that he was an individual who for whatever reason, could not drink in moderation or drink responsibly. Indeed he learned the hard way that if he refrained from drinking, all of the other significant parts of his life would be upgraded. Every so often, Stanley missed drinking, but the better health, relationships, finances, and the better work performance he experienced more than counterbalanced his love of drinking.</p>

<p> The idea of the program is to be able for you to develop a consistent approach to weight loss as well as a healthy endurance when exercising.  The program’s objective is to get rid of the excesses in your body, the excess fat.  Not the healthy and lean muscle tissues and body fluids. </p>

<p> Stretch, stretch and stretch some more.  Before actually doing those exercises and working out those muscles, a little stretching is needed in order to avoid any injury or soreness in your body.</p>
<p> It is also not advisable for anyone to try too hard.  Everything should be done in moderation.  Find the level of exercise and training that suits you.  It should be enough for you to be comfortable in but not too convenient that it will not be much of a challenge. <br /> The first week</p>
<p> The first day of the program involves a long and steady walk in a little over twenty minutes.  After the walk, follow it up with a good stretch.  This takes so little of your time for the first day.  In less than an hour you have taken that first step to a weight loss program that could work to your advantage.</p>
<p> By the second day, it is good to focus on an upper body workout.  This maintains your strength to be able to go through the whole program for the week.  On the third day, a brisk walk or jog for ten minutes is in order.  For beginners, a lower body workout should be done in the evening.</p>
<p> In the fourth day, a good rest is in order, as well as a good stretch.  This lag time should be used wisely though to sort out any negatives in your mindset.  The fifth day starts with a good ten minute walk.  Exercise the lower body in four sessions of workouts, follow this up with another ten minute walk, and another four sessions of lower body workout.</p>
<p> The sixth day should be spent on a low impact exercise such as swimming.  To avoid boredom, do not be afraid to try something new.  The last day of the week is a time to solicit the support of the people you care about.  Spend time with them or get them to be with you in your long walk.  Again, follow up your walk with a light upper body workout. </p>
<p> This is just the beginning though.  If by this first week you are able to stick to the program, you have a great chance to further boost your weight loss and stay with the plan until you achieve your desired result.  Try as much as possible to be unlike the people who give up easily just because they could not see the result they want at the time they want – like this moment, today, now!   Patience is a virtue.  The same way it took your body time to gain all that weight, think about it as the time your body will have to exert just to get rid of it.</p>
